Unlimited Levels of Home Care is looking for you! There is an immediate need for direct support professionals, including but not limited to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Direct care workers. Below you will find a list of prerequisites to obtain employment. 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Direct care workers

• Completion of training. Certificate of completion
• Completion and passing score of competency test.
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's license (Preferred)
• Complete a Criminal Record Check  Child Abuse History Clearance along with an FBI clearance.
• Health Screening (Required by all employees for TB testing)
• The agency reserves the right to request any applicant (after an offer of employment is extended) or current employee, to undergo a physical and pass a drug screening examination where the position or physical condition of the individual may warrant. 

Have willingness to provide care for people from various backgrounds without regard to race, religion, gender, age, culture, sexual orientation, or disability and be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job.

A competency examination developed by Unlimited Levels of Home Care for direct care workers addressing, at a minimum, the following subject areas:

1. Confidentiality
2. Consumer control and the independent living philosophy.
3. Instrumental activities of daily living.
4. Recognizing changes in the consumer that need to be addressed.
5. Basic infection control.
6. Universal precautions.
7. Handling of emergencies.
8. Documentation.
9. Recognizing and reporting abuse or neglect.
10. Dealing with difficult behaviors.

Also, If you are applying for the direct care worker you will be examined on the following Personal care subject areas:

1. Bathing, shaving, grooming and dressing.
2. Hair, skin and mouth care.
3. Assistance with ambulation and transferring.
4. Meal preparation and feeding.
5. Toileting.

Pre-employment interviews are required for all positions. Interviews may be scheduled according to agency needs. The final decision to hire shall be approved by the Administrator. The job offer will be made by the immediate supervisor.

Information supplied on the application form or during an interview will be subject to verification made by the agency and may be conducted by phone or mail. We will need at least two satisfactory references one from a previous employer and one reference from a non-related individual that confirms they have the ability to perform their job duties.
